A Trip Around MLBlogs

Alright tonight I will be taking a trip around mlblogs.com and clicking on various blogs, then writing a couple sentences. I’ll probably do between 5 and 10, and I’ll just click on the most recently updated blogs. I’ll leave links and comments on all of their blogs to let them know they’ve been featured on the ever prestigious EAT, SLEEP, MLB. Here we go!

First Up…
King Of Cali : This evening this Giants fan wrote a recap of today’s spring training game against the Mariners. Looks like Pablo Sandoval is crushing the ball down in Arizona. I was also disappointed that Tim Lincecum only struck out 1 batter in 6 innings, c’mon Tim. The King of Cali made his daily Today In Baseball History entry and had some interesting information. Check it out everybody!
Next…
Rocky Mountain Way… Outside Coors Looking In : Well I’m not exactly sure on what this guy is doing, because I’m a tad too lazy and short on time to read the story he links in his description at the top of the page, but it seems that he’s using 2009 to research all different kinds of baseball information across the nation. Today he made a post about Babe Ruth and Lou Gehrig playing baseball all around the world in the 1920′s and 1930′s. A really interesting post. Great read.
Third…
Red Sox Hen : A dedicated Red Sox fan wrote about the topic of the day, Curt Schilling’s retirement. Earlier posts have featured Daisuke and the World Baseball Classic and Tim Wakefield. A nice blog, a lot of good pictures. Check it out.
Fourth…
Statistician Magician : One of my favorite blogs. He wrote a great NL East preview today. Bookmark it, save it, remember it, whatever, this guy’s got skills.
Fifth…
Redbird Chatter : A Cardinals fan with a big passion for the World Baseball Classic. She wrote a great article recapping last night’s USA vs. Japan game. I personally wasn’t able to watch the game, but she did a great job of painting the picture for me.
Sixth…
Skip On Second : This Tiger’s fan made a short post about today’s Tigers game and how Brandon Lyons got absolutely lit up. He also mentioned Curt Schilling and paid a short tribute to one of the great pitchers and great people we have ever seen.
Seventh…
Plunking Gomez : Wrote an article about the USA team’s loss last night. “Team USA poops the proverbial bed” – hilarious stuff. This is another one of my favorite blogs, check him out!
Eighth… for all you spanish-speaking people out there…
La Nacion Medias Rojas : Okay I took 2 years of spanish class, I’m almost positive that means “Red Sox Nation”. Although I couldn’t make anything else out in there, but there’s a picture of Kevin Youkilis. Pictures are good.
So there you have it.

Hey man… I appreciate the comment and the mention, too! I’ll be watching to see what the Pirates do with Craig Monroe. Sadly, he hasn’t done well as of late, but he’s one of my favorite players!

Thank you for the kind words.
The Red Sox are my passion, but I like a lot of the National League. Maybe because we don’t have a National League Team in Boston. I’ll be sure to check in from time to time.

Hah you had me cracking up. No I won’t be researching baseball across the country. Close though. I will be following the Rockies around the country this summer and writing the stories of this countries people and the travels. That’s alright if you didn’t have time to read up on it. We all get busy sometimes! Thanks for the paragraph anyway. Nice idea.

now maybe some of you guys could return the favor… my page views have been kinda low the last few days…… ;)

Jon,Thanks for the shoutout. I wouldn’t have known about your blog if you hadn’t left a comment on mine, but I’m glad I paid a visit. You have some good stuff up here! And the Pirates look like they might be a tough team this year. You’ve certainly been beating up on my Twins!-Erinhttp://plunking-gomez.mlblogs.com

Thanks for stopping my blog and writing about it! Happy to give you a WBC recap. I am feeling a little lost tonight with no baseball. Opening Day can’t come soon enough! That’s funny about the blog in Spanish. Sometimes I try to read them, too. It’s a lost cause.
