I got a little late start on this week, so I hope that doesn’t lead to a down-week. Here are my picks: 

Alright well the Pirates lost again today thanks to the bullpen. I don’t feel much like typing right now, plus the work I did on that hockey post last night needs to get read, so I’m going to leave it closer to the top of my blog. Anyways, here are my picks for Friday’s games (you can see the current standings here, and don’t forget to read my hockey post.

Another down week. I don’t know what’s going on, maybe people are losing interest, if this continues I’ll have to do something about it. Anyway, here are the current standings, Phillies Perspective is back in first place. I just hope I didn’t screw anything up this time.

Well here it is late Thursday night and no one has submitted their picks yet, including myself. So I’ll get it rolilng, here are my winners for tomorrow: 

Well as you can see 5 people did not make their selections for this week’s contest, even though Braves World hasn’t since week 1, so I should just take him out altogether, but regardless the contest took a big hit this week. There is a brand new leader which happens to be yours truly. Mets Go and Peace Love Baseball, the top 2 after last week both did not submit picks, so they slid a little ways. Because of all these happenings, this is actually a pretty wide open contest now. People that submitted picks this week that hadn’t an earlier week are now right back in the thick of things. It’s a long season guys, get back on it next week!

Okay well a couple of the contestants in my contest informed me that I made some mistakes last week, and I have since fixed those mistakes. Marlins Musings actually got 10 games right instead of 7, Eat Sleep Baseball got credit for 10 when he actually only had 6, and a couple people got credit for one less game then they should have. So those have been fixed, and here are your current standings: 

Another thing, I’m probably not going to be able to update my blog til late Saturday or so. I’ve got senior prom tonight which lasts til 5 a.m., then I have to get up for my sister’s college graduation, then the after party from that, then I finally get to sleep, so check back late Saturday night and I should have everything square. I’ve gotta go get ready… this is going to be a looooooong night.

Good news, there are no early games tomorrow, so you guys have all day to get them in. Again, I would prefer for you all to post them on your own blogs because a couple of the submission comments haven’t been processed and I’ve missed people’s picks because of it. Mets Go had another big week and has found himself back in first place. I’m lagging behind, my Pirates lost a heartbreaker last night and hurt my picks.

I have a lot to say about the game last night, but I don’t have time now, I am headed over to the elementary school to throw the baseball around with some friends. I’ll be back later. Tonight is Zach Duke and a win would be nice heading into tomorrow where we face Jake Peavy. Let’s Go Bucs!
